My name is Shaz
Born and raised in London, living in LA for over a decade. These past few years have come with lot of change and many challenges, with some truly beautiful moments born out of them.
From our infertility journey to navigating motherhood and finding my pink postpartum, sprinkling in my obsession with Italy and weddings (yes, we had two of them), home organization and cooking, you'll soon feel part of the family.
Join me as I share a little (sometimes a lot) of my slice of the world.
My passion for sharing our infertility journey stems from my own experience that shone a light on the importance of patient advocacy in one of the most delicate areas in healthcare
As a proud IVF mama, I will never forget our journey nor the work there is to be done in the (in)fertility world and community.
It’s taken me time to find my footing after becoming pregnant following our second FET and four rounds of IVF. Alongside the joy came an unexpected wave of guilt and a sense of being in between: not fully able to connect with mothers who hadn’t walked a similar path, yet also unsure where I fit within the infertility community.
This space, and another project close to my heart, have been quietly taking shape as I’ve worked to find both the words and myself while navigating what I’ve come to call post-infertility postpartum (PIPP).
For those still on their journey, I hope our story offers a sense of hope. But more than anything, I hope it helps you feel empowered: to trust your voice, ask questions, and move forward with greater clarity in your own fertility journey.
Beyond Mama
While the pursuit of motherhood (and being a mum) defines so much of who I am, this PIPP perspective has gently pushed me to ask a deeper question: who am I beyond that?
This corner of my site is a space for that rediscovery — a quiet renaissance of the things that help answer it.
Here, you’ll find glimpses into our home renovation, event planning and gatherings, plant-based recipes, travel, skincare, and more.
It’s about curating experiences that leave a lasting impression. Whether that’s a thoughtfully planned dinner party or the small, everyday luxuries that elevate a routine. There’s an art in transforming a house into a home, and in finding beauty in the details along the way
